I think Qwel did try to tease Dyle, just very poorly

I said this on /v/ but Qwel likely has a lot more planned out than people think, but she just sucks at using the format she's been given to tell the story
Pic related was likely teasing Dyle's floor, note the posters. It wasn't a very good teaser but it was likely supposed to be a teaser

pic related, this was likely teasing dyle (the posters are the same as the ones on his floor, just using the old artwork) but it doesn't actually tease him in any meaningful way, leading to his sudden appearance feeling jarring
