Most of those names do not have star potential, least of whom being Hangman. If they did, and if AEW was good, they would've AT LEAST retained a good portion of their audience.
People care about quality. As pointed out in this very thread, WWE went from tarping off arenas to consistent sell-outs, or close to it. And that's because the show got better.
The fact that AEW has done the exact opposite, while the market leader is bringing in more fans to watch wrestling again, should help you realize this.
