The price will go down because, assuming AI gets good enough to actually make development much cheaper, many many MANY more developers will be making AAA quality games. Meaning no one will give a fuck about buying most of the expensive high quality games because there will be so many of them.

Demand down = price down. But at the same time quality up + quantity up. It's a win/win for consumers.
