I tried stone ocean, but it was the first time I actually dropped a jojo season

Meme. I don't mind jolene. Maybe the formula was just getting tired after so long. I liked how the first 2 seasons had hammon as the primary combat system, then it changed into stands, which have much more versitility and can be more open ended, but after that it stayed stands for seemingly forever (havent read the manga, so idk if this changes in later Parts)
I think after diamond is unbreakable would have been a good place to either introduce something new or do some kind of shakeup with the primary system, as it really felt like things were running a littlebit dry, idk.
Aparently steel ball run is a prequel season or something and disconnected mostly from the rest of the parts? Am I going to be missing anything if I watch that without finishing stone ocean?
Part of me wants to do a total rewatch of everything from the start, but it's daunting. There's probably like 100eps at this point.
Also I was enjoying the manga dump that started earlier this year, but I had to drop it. The pace was just way too fast for me at a volume a day. I should have atleast finished part 1, but I just couldn't keep up at all
