There's like 7 shows this season where the OP or ED is just the characters doing a dance like this facing the camera without any interesting visuals or editing or choreography, it's very tiresome.
The staff really, REALLY thought they were making the slickest subversive kino ever by bait-and-switching with some in-universe BL dogshit, complete with bad OP and bad ED.
I guess the silver lining is we didn't have to suffer through the actual OP2 which is almost as shitty. But holy fuck what a tone deaf swing and a miss.
