Normally I put people off buying more shit they don't need however if you're planning on doing pushups at home regularly I would advise you to get parallettes. Means your wrists will be aligned with your forearms rather than being bent back at 90°. At the start you can get away with pushing off the floor but if you're at it for years eventually your wrists will feel it.
You don't need fancy ones, literally just search on Amazon and buy any of the wooden ones. You could even make them yourself if you're so inclined.
