Sniveling that "entertainers shouldn't have political opinions" is bullshit, just like supposed "cancel culture". If entertainers should stay out of politics, that that includes Hannity/Gutfeld/Carlson and all the Fox entertainers as well. So perhaps the MAGA trash should lead by example if they feel so strongly about it.

When it comes down to it, entertainers make the same choice in voicing their politics as any other business. They may risk losing a significant percentage of their fanbase by taking sides, or (as in the case of Tay) nobody gives a fuck except for buttblasted MAGA trash who didn't listen to her music anyway.

It's a business decision and is the very definition of a 1st Amendment right. fake-ass martyrs who say "waaaaah I got cancelled because I spoke up with my right-wing bullshit or antivax bullshit!" are full of shit.
