Do you guys have travel bags for your day trips?
I've been using them just to carry a book, water bottle, and maybe a granola bar while on the train, but it makes me feel like a dork, especially when I have to pay $2 to store it whenever I visit a museum. I know water bottles aren't expensive, but I'd rather be reading for the ~hour travel than wasting my phone (GPS and translation) battery

backup question -- is Aberdeen, Scotland, worth visiting for a day or can I get that same depressing atmosphere out of Inverness and Glasgow?
