gleba>nauvis=>fulgora>>>vulcanus
in terms of how interesting each planet is to play on

Also quality is a shit mechanic that actively makes the game worse, never research that garbage, unfun AND overpowered

I did a gleba only run where i start there, and it was painful, but when you're figuring it out, a lot of fun. It's legitimately an interesting change to how factories work, and I wish there were more uses for biochambers and mechanics like it. Really my only problem with the planet is the lack of stone, and how in vanilla, coal is locked behind research that requires coal

Fulgora is interesting, but kind of samey. I'd like it more if there was just more going on there in terms of industrial processes (i dont think having enemies would improve it). I think conceptually its very interesting, there's just not enough there.

Vulcanus is just easy and boring, coal runs out but everything else is free. yay

i dont think enemies are the solution to the various issues - to me, it's the agriculture and spoilage that make gleba interesting, and the pentapods are one of its weaker aspects, they're just too strong to reliably defend against, so you just go out with mines or a tonk and pre-emptively clear them.
In general i'd say enemies are only interesting when you HAVE to defend against them, attacking is uninteresting and shouldn't be optimal.

anyway gleba best
