I forgot to mention I love the idea that Orphan is floating around in this universe because she's next to all the plants and shit in outer space, and people in mobile suits and the Brains can probably go visit her anytime whereas the series it was more ambiguous and there wasn't really space travel.

The protagonist having Orgon energy probably was just a coincidence and not connected but it was a neat match to Organic energy.
