tbqh it was fine until Legion, prior to that the lore was pretty standard vague fantasy shit, ironically the harder that blizzard tries to define every single little detail of the world the worse the lore gets because plot points are constantly getting dropped or overwriting each other because there's too much for them to deal with with their limited abilities (you also need a sense of vagueness for large mystical events in fantasy otherwise it becomes boring)
