Honestly? That's a good point. I say that as a man who used to be married. I've had lots of anime "waifus" I thought were hot and would want to marry. Yet their character trope isn't realistic enough to last the reality that is life, and they are infinitely more perfect than a real woman could ever be. So it remains in fantasy land where it belongs.
I don't have a rebuttal. It's a good point to bring up. Nerds or incels probably make that mistake, where they fall for anime girls, then finally get in a real relationship, and are left disappointed that it's not even a fraction fo what fiction promised.
