In lost world he's shit but in the comic (i don't like IDW but credit where its due since he's written like this in the game now too), he's an effective calm and composed leader that stands by his clan despite being ruthless .
He also is actually intelligent in the comic utilising his assets (like that crossover) and actually supports them like he does with starline and raises them higher.
It's surprisingly nuanced for the comics and its fucking appalling that fucking Zavok of all characters is probably the best written character next to Starline but this is where the franchise is at
