How did they get to 7356 hours? Here it is like 12 years at 40-60 hr a week (noting that there are around 14 weeks of non-school).

I get to 38x50 = 1900 x 12 = 22,800 hours.

Even if we say “school” is only required for 9 years in Austria, the law mandates that until 18, kids have a “Ausbildungspflicht”, so if you leave school at 15 which is possible, you are then mandated to learn a trade (with school mandatory to full time work, which again is around 40 - 50 hours a week).

7,356 compared to 22,800 is a massive difference which makes no sense, especially when the French, Italians, Brits, Turks and Italians fall far behind Austria in school test results.
