Not yet, and I honestly don't think she will either. If you look at the Japanese forums they're defending Kate under the guise of 'Free speech and freedom of expression.
Have a look through some of the pages on here.

They're not defending Kate on 2chn or FF14 blog sites, but they are on the official JP forum and people who are saying she should be fired are getting banned from the JP forum, they also deleted a thread that highlighted her actions.
These people in JP are called 'Knights' and are well known for being shit eaters.
