This book was written after the moob came out and it plainly retcons shit to align with the movie. Also it's egregiously made plain the author thinks Forest Jr. should be played by Matt Damon. With the climax of their story being Forest Sr. spanking Jr's bareass while he wails about never knowing his mama.
