Summer was a weird event that feel like a barley connected set of skits, most of the summer Servants never interacted with each other, and in the end it was revealed that everyone was just a very loosely defined stand-in for Olga and that maybe the nothing plot teased stuff about the final chapter, but only if you squint very hard. It felt like a story that Nasu should've written himself if he wanted it to to happen, but since he didn't it couldn't do anything interesting. Crane and Nostalgia Marie's friendship was kinda cute, but Nostalgia Marie not interacting with Guda after she merged back with Mika felt like Nasu saying "nope, that's reserved for me" and really tied up the writer's hands.
