Thank you for pointing out how Catholics have to go out of their way to help the orthodogs
>Eastern Rome, Serbia, Albania, Wallachia, Bulgaria and Moldavia put up more resistance against the Ottomans
Considering how they were conquered, they didn't
>Difference is Catholic powers would sabotage any rising power against the Ottomans
Just another proof why orthodoxy is WEAK, and Catholicism is STRONG
>Heathen Turks were less cruel and destructive than the fourth crusade
Yes, the propensity of the orthodox people to side with Muslims at all times is a well known fact.
>Balkan kingdoms didn't have the luxury of Balkans soaking up and delaying the Ottomans
There was no "delaying". The Ottomans got their asses kicked when they tried to conquer Catholic lands, that's all there is to it.
If anything, the Ottomans greatly benefited from the wars with the orthodogs as they gained resources, land, and manpower at a minimal risk.

Slavery in Czechia and Poland declined sharply around the time of christianization, with the Arabic dirham being replaced by local and German coins as the main currency.
Around the same time the Samanids were destroyed, and they were their main trading partners through which the bulk of the Slavs entered the Middle East. Balkanites selling each other to the Muslims doesn't interest me.

Greece would have lost if not for the naval battle of Novarino.
