It's the EDM Anon.
Yes it's going great why do you ask?

Once the carbon is on the board it'll never stop arcing. Guess I chose too short insulation distances.
So anyways:
I swapped the TMC2130 on the RAMPS14 board and reportet things are going great, getting real slow movements down to F0.3 or so.
Printing a few parts I need now. Noticed the following:
Most lines do not look underextruded. But some lines do. It seems to be the really fast ones. Like skirt and some long straight perimeter wall.
I did not adjust my slicer at all.
So I was wondering:
Maybe the old Marlin was limiting speed or accel in some way? And now it doesn't, runs faster and the extruder can't keep up? Slips?
My other theory is that maybe the 8bit 16MHz 2560 can't keep up with all. it's jobs: SPI at 256 microsteps for X, Y, Z, Z2 and DIR/Step for E0 and everything else?
So what do? I will try if its the same at less uSteps. If it improves I'll just put that in machine start code for prints.
Tighten the extruder spring?
