Everything in the game should have at least three ways to go about it, a main frontal attack, a diplomatic way and a subterfuge way. Like Sieges could be won by actually besieging or starving out but also sneaking in and sabotaging it, OR actually just bribing and persuading people inside. Or you could use high tier engineering and do shit like tunneling, sapping walls and flooding, which would be end game levels of broken and a big reward for levelling that shitty skill.

But Stealth and Roguery in general just needs to be useful for so much more shit.

like sneaking solo could be missions given by lords as a rogue heavy character
>enemy army in the field can be snuck up on at night
>can poison supplies and weapons to give them debuffs like lower health or lower ammo
>can eavesdrop on troops to get a bead on the overall morale and condition of the army
>can enter disguised and spread rumors to affect their morale or even cause mutinies
>can just kill high level troops to weaken them or assassinate lords

or as parties you could essentially vietcong your way through enemy doomstack for a Battanian playthrough
>small stealth-focused party can be hidden in certain terrain types and prepare ambushes for passing enemies
>when the enemy party enters the area set for the ambush they get separated into smaller parts and can be attacked at leisure, ambushing party can pick which troops to attack and defeat them in detail
>ambushing party has a time limit to do as much damage as possible before the reinforcements come and they have to either fight a proper battle or retreat
