i'm gonna keep it a hundred-thousand-million with you. i don't know if it's time, or the way the gacha games and FighterZ glazed Super Saiyan Blue and Ultra Instinct, or how much i enjoyed Heroes, but i don't pop for original Super Saiyan the way i used to anymore. that's part of why i wasn't very interested in Daima. a remake of original DBZ without all the good, additional material the old showrunners added to enhance the story sounds like a colossal waste of time and resources. i don't think i would watch a single episode.
remaking DBZ also presents a problem that Kai struggled with, and that's that OG DBZ was redubbed and even rescored in some countries, so many people had different experiences with the series, and you can't accurately represent all of those and make everyone happy. it would basically just be fan service for Japan, and 30-40 year old weebs.
