I like Cyrene, and I like Elysia. I appreciate the fact that Cyrene is Elysia's expy, but I don't play Hi3. I still like them both, but I gravitate more towards Cyrene because HSR is the game I actually play. I think that even if you don't like Cyrene, as an Elysia enjoyer you should at least appreciate her existence. It's no coincidence that Elysia is getting a new battlesuit this close to Cyrene's banner release, and Elysia is bound to become more popular as HSR players learn about her by proxy.
And HSR players that never got to experience HI3 get to enjoy the "Elysia" formula that is Cyrene and worked so well back in the day. Bronya enjoyers are pretty happy with HSR's Bronya and Silver Wolf. You can't obviously have Elysia 2, because Elysia belongs to HI3. But the devs wanted to deliver you a character as close to her as possible. You're even getting an adult form alongside her cute smaller version to resemble Elysia even more.
