OP here. I was out fishing today and as I was walking back to my car I struck up a conversation with this older guy. When he said he was from Toronto I asked him what he would suggest doing, he flat out said avoid it. And not to go to Vancouver either. When I asked him what I should do instead, he said either fly into Edmonton or fly into Calgary and take a bus to Banff. So that's probably what I'll be doing. Canadian rockies in the winter look pretty dope.
