They don't know what to do with it.
If they just make it PoE 2 in terms of "literally path of exile and the meta there, but again" then there's no point making a PoE 2
but on the other hand, falling for the dark souls

meme and making every common enemy take 5 seconds to beat falls flat when there's 5,000 of them on each map and they're all completely useless trash mobs
But they keep getting massively conflicting feedback at all times and as a result have no concrete direction for the game
