Now that the dust settled, I realize that GV3's plot fails because it doesn't build on the world we're familiar with. There's nothing to discuss because an incoherent story culminating in a plot twist about a superpowered dragon baby isn't interesting, even if it does make for funny shitpost material. GV2 is the best in the series because it expanded the setting like any good sequel and left several tantalizing cliffhangers, so you see it talked about almost a good decade later.
