Time for me to tell my colleague that if the deadline is in 2 days unfortunately I can't help him. I wonder if this will backfire, but I can't do miracles.

Legally and technically speaking, why shouldn't I just get as many simultaneous contracts I can juggle as possible? It seems like the only way to have job security and a nice income these days.
