A lot of pro-russian eastern euros are self aware enough that they understand that cheering for russia openly is borderline subhuman behaviour, even if they can't help it. That's how you end up with all the "we just want the killing to stop, so ukraine must capitulate" takes.
And yeah, at least in my corner of the Baltics there's enough people to gobble that shit up, alongside the "why waste our tax dollars on a foreign war" rhetoric you'd hear from Tim Pool types. Far from a majority, but enough to be a sizeably loud minority, and not just among the russian speakers.
