It's called an idol of the old ones, it's not confirmed as an actual accurate depiction of an old one, the lizardmen had plenty of idols that allegedly depicted the old ones and they varied massively because it was their faded idea of what the old ones looked like, if erected later, or statues depicting stuff they forgot which later ended up associating with the old ones.
and the necrons of course later met the old ones, in war, before that they really didn't, when the 3rd edition codex suggests to use lizardmen models, it does so to represent their degenerated servants.
I'm perfectly in agreement that the old ones were the old slann, but the fluff that's been presented so far says the interaction with them was always very very distant.
