Tallyman: 40 -> 45 pts

This increases the price of the avg cookie cutter DG list by something in the vicinity of 200 to 250 points while also nerfing some stuff that is simply too strong to have. I think they would be mid tier with these changes.

Yep, you will usually need another unit to help you block your space so you can place your unit in a way piling into the other one is feasible though, by leaving a small gap. More broadly you can charge a closer unit with two of yours, activate one to kill then pile in with the second. A savvy player will usually heroic intervention there though, but at least you're making him use CP.

You only see whatever the current meta or new release army is featured in youtuber channels. Drukhari haven't had a new release in almost 5 years and haven't been a meta threat all edition so no channel feels pressure to play them. They few that do are absolutely awful at it because it actually is a very hard faction to play. Even the Art of War guys misplay the faction on stream constantly because their Aeldari player just runs them like normal Eldar and doesn't understand the difference or tries to run them like thick city from 9th edition which is an archetype that doesn't exist in 10th edition and is completely unsupported.

Yeah, everyone points to the Incubi missile as just deleting a knight or block of terminators off the board and vanish again but that takes:

>75 Point Raider to transport them

Those shoulder pads mean the wearer is trained to use terminator armour. Called terminator honours or the crux terminates.

As explained above, those are crux terminatus pauldrons. They would typically be seen only on veterans and characters. Normal battleline troops like assault intercessors would basically never have one.
If you want to use one in the future - put it on the left shoulder, with the chapter icon switched to the right. It is in general considered to be more important than the chapter icon.

I'll take pictures tomorrow but honestly it wasn't hard at all. I never glued the feet to the legs, just used the ball socket + gravity so it was pretty much just:

What are your guys' favorite HH models to use for 40k?
I picked up a Mk4 tactical squad for super cheap because the box was smashed to shit and now I have 20 BT intercessors (who knows when I'll ever need that much shooting).
The kits were so easy to put together and paint I kinda want to do even more, but I don't know what to pick up next.

Love that theming idea, my rationale for having Heresy intercessors in my army is they were Imperial Fists who fell into the Warp during the Heresy and ended up in 40k and joined up with the Templars.
Gave a couple of them some yellow bolters as a callback and stuck some BT bits from the Execrator and Crusade Ancient that I didn't use onto the packs for the two sergeants with power fists. Still have to do the transfers onto the pauldrons.

All fluos are very strange in texture at least in my own experience. I've tried AK, vallejo game and model, and warcolors(thank fucking God the first one sucked enough and I didn't get more) and all of them had a similar gloopy, somewhat gelatinous medium, reacted to alcohol/airbrush thinner very strangely, we're very very translucent and took a long time to dry. AK was the one I had the most amount of luck, but it really needs a white undercoat to pop. Haven't tried the fanatic fluos(didn't know they had those in the line) personally but I can't see it being all that different from the ones I've tried.

the internal balance is terrible, the army is full of redundant units after the update many of which are just new versions of previous units with the previous units nerfed into the ground so you buy the new thing, there are still grand canyon sized gaps in the armies range and it doesnt seem like they'll address that anytime soon. the kits you want to build a lot of are bad and rarely run in more than 1 offs, and the kits that are painful to buy (3 models on 32mm bases for $60) are the best in the book by a country mile. the army as a whole can barely fight, barely shoot, is not that durable, requires buying a lot of model kits since the points are in a race to the bottom with their increasingly dogshit datasheets and nerfs, they lack any character bigger than a space marine lieutenant so you dont get to do much herohammer and have no big monsters or walkers, and the army rule is an exercise in tedious bean counting.
