Again, I think you're underestimating the retardation of normalfags. They have no sense of "good" and "bad" animation, nor can they comprehend when a story turns bad. Look at something like Game of Thrones, which needed 3 straight up garbage seasons AND a terrible finale for normalfags to finally dislike it. Yet when the spin-off came out and was just as awful they ate it up, because it was something new and had the GoT name attached to it. All OPM S3 needs is a bit of hype for the "epic" manga chapters and normalfags will lose their minds. Normalfags will watch whatever the hordes of brown people on Youtube and Reddit will tell them to. They will never take it seriously or engage with it out of personal interest. Media is something to be consumed so you can say that you're part of the collective by having consumed it in their eyes. And in the extremely rare cases where they accidently stumble upon something with the tiniest bit of real depth, they reveal themselves as being either borderline illiterate or narcissistic psychopaths, as was the case with the reception of Takopi's Original Sin for example.
