Allen Gregory had extremely dislikable characters, but honestly the dialogue jokes were decent.
The best scenes even reminded me of Monkey Dust with its cynical humor. It wasn't nearly that good the rest of the time, but at least it's a competent show with decent jokes.

Tripping the Rift is kinda bizarre because every gag feels aaaaaalmost like a joke but not quite. And the editing is really weird, like the editor didn't understand English and would fuck up the timing of all the quips. Everything about it is just "off."
