Mega Babies, Super Duper Sumos, Butt Ugly Martians, and The Brothers Flub are the cartoons I immediately think of as being just fucking dogshit. There was this weird period in the early 00s where they tried really hard to push actual fucking awful cartoons and none of them stuck, I have no idea why but it was like a mini-epoch of fecal matter.

Ripping Friends feels more like a Jim Smith show than a John K one, he was known for his comic superhero influence and his knack for drawing big buff or burly guys. As talented as the late Jim Smith (and arguably the best Spumco artist) was, the shows just more on-model than Spumcos other shows, it’s missing the insane energy R&S had because of that.

I'm going to second that Butt Ugly Martians wasn't that bad. The visuals were really dated even for the time, and they did try to market it too hard, but the actual show was pretty inoffensive. I only know because my younger brother liked it. He wasn't obsessed with it or anything, but he had some of the action figures and would watch it if it was on and I saw a few episodes with him. It's just your typical "group of teens meet group of weirdos and help them fight bad guys" kids show. The title makes it sound like it would be really immature and full of gross out humor and toilet jokes, but it surprisingly lacks those. At least the episodes I remember.

let me correct myself, Ralph worked on the original Mighty Mouse during his time on Terrytoons before he was fired in the 50s and but then was hired back before he left to briefly work at Paramount until that cartoon studio shut down.
