(And *literally* revived twice by the god emps. So dad is giving his blessings) ofc hes not going to follow exactly in his father's footsteps, look at how spectacularly that failed last time

guilliman represents change and hope in a stagnant decaying empire that is buckling under the weight of its ass backwards traditions. it would be more weird if a man so famed for his tactician mind *didnt* try to innovate on his father's goals.....
