I think he meant that vtubers barely put up a character and their streamer persona is just them but with an anime avatar. Granted, a public persona is still a mask, but it at least somewhat resembles the person. So Suisei would be genuine.

To be fair, MLP is one show while vtuber brands are very different. But yeah, fragmenting themselves as a westerm community is dumb. The western side is a niche within a niche. JPs at least can reach mainstream status.
