To be fair, with Spiderman is kinda hard because NY and Uncle Ben are integral characters (Yes, I know one is a city) to Spiderman as a whole. Stuff like that can be added to the character without showing it.
You get the gist of superman pretty quickly, Krypton went to shit, Superman was a baby when he was adopted by Mama Kent and Dad Kent, and he ended up becoming superman.
I like how Superman and Lois handled it.
