While I get where people who think the show didn't look good are coming from, I actually liked the art style. My only problem with it is how inconsistent it was at times, like how June Way seemed to constantly change her shoes mid scene.
You hit the nail on the head about it feeling scatterbrained. The show would introduce a character, concept or plot point only to fucking immediately move onto something else. It really did feel like Genndy was just throwing whatever shit he could think of at a wall.
Also, I love the magic fox lady.
