You made a lot of claims there, let's stick to the rainbow example. Why can't Yahweh's promise be an atmosphere phenomenon? But this is again not what I am even asking you about. I know there are many reasons to reject the bible but stories that can be taken as allegories/parables (as many Christians do) are not really it.

People thinking a certain way or another about something doesn't make it real. We have major disagreements even on some of our most fundamental theories don't you know? Anyway I still don't understand why you seeing the bible as bs has any relevance to your atheism except to maybe rejecting Judeochristianity specifically and even then it has major problems
