Because they did a lazy job in fitting gear to the rig, probably just put in the parameters for their racial gear (which doesn't have sleeves but has these non-fitting huge armbands that also do'nt touch the arms) into a bodyslide-like tool and let it run without checking the results and called it a day.

Just altogether low-effort like everything with the post-SB "limited races".
