I really, truly do want to enjoy this game but it's just so... well, "barebones" really doesn't seem like the right word considering I can see that there's a colossal amount of stuff to occupy my time, but "static" or "stagnant" maybe. The scenery is pretty as hell, the movement is excellent, the setting is pure kino, but it just seems kind of hollow when I realize the gameplay loop outside of autismaxxing my base will be so stifling.
