Nagito would definitely get shilled, same with Mikan, but Chiaki dying in Case 1 seems the most likely outcome given this cast. Chapter 1s are always about maximum shock value - the only way to top killing a big-name like Byakuya is by taking out the most beloved character, especially since Chiaki isn’t even fully human.
