Just read through the Volume 16 SBS and learned that Oda used to watch the anime based on the Swedish author Selma Lagerlöf's stories of Nils Holgersson a lot as a kid, just like he did Vicky the Viking. Anything in this series that could hunt towards future developments in Elbaf or the overall story perhaps?
