I would say it comes across that working on it was a rough experience not that he didn’t like it from the start. And it would make sense to me considering Uchikoshi was put in charge of directing all the routes besides 0 and 2nd scenario.

I wouldn’t say it came across as intentionally unsatisfying at all. Just that he went against what Kodaka asked him to do and also trusted him blindly to do such that he remained unaware of the locks until it was too late. I do hope they’re still on good terms though but I do feel slightly bad that Kodaka didn’t get his game where all endings can be interpreted as the true ending (I prefer the time hopping connect everything Uchikoshi stuff myself though so I am glad it turned out that way)
I wonder if Hundred Line did poorly Kodaka would be throwing Uchikoshi under the bus. But instead because his delegation of work worked he’s walking around taking credit for everything getting almost arrested in china because fans were swarming him

To be fair, he only wrote 2 routes then handed it to the other writers and Uchikoshi to direct it all so it’s majority Uchikoshi and other writers. Then when they weren’t going to meet the deadline Uchikoshi said either he helps or they don’t have 100 endings so he ended up co writing a number of routes and writing a 3rd one solo at the last minute because no one else was available.

He said that it wasn’t connected because that’s how he wrote it and it was done before all the other routes, however he seemed to be unaware that Uchikoshi after the fact made it connect. Very curious if he likes or dislikes what he did, but he was the one who left the other 99 routes to Uchikoshi and the other writers. Him saying in the recent interview that he didn’t know there were story locks makes it clear he really thought they’d just make all the routes separate which is why he said whatever route you want to be canon is canon without realizing Uchikoshi decided to make them pretty much all have happened and keep looping until the loop is broken in SF All 17.

I think it’s odd to keep asking him about the other route connection details since he’s made it clear he had nothing to do with it and that was all Uchikoshi (he just came in to help with writing their routes when they were running out of time)
