Even if the game sold 20,000 copies, after paying taxes and the cut to steam the dev made less than minimum wage.

Do you guys seriously watch movies and TV shows on a computer screen instead of just chucking it on a USB / Hard drive and watching it on TV for a vastly superior viewing experience?

Is this because you don't want to leave your room and interact with your parents?
