It's a good gun, but I wouldn't recommend the full size P09 because it's so goddamn big. It's 1911 big but chunkier and has no helpful angles, so get the P07. And "fun to shoot" is subjective, but I put mine in the "boringly good" category. I can practice a drill twenty times with any other pistol, then pick up the P09 and shoot my first run faster. That's why it's my home defense gun, but I don't shoot it much because that's boring to me.
