For one of countless stories for why WML are important. You cannot draw and control a shotgun, rifle, or handgun with a handheld light in hand. I know you don't practice draw drills and time them given the fact you even proposed this idea, but try it sometime. How do you plan on moving your shirt out of the way with a handheld flashlight in your hand? Do you plan on moving the flashlight from your dominate hand to your non dominate hand, then using that hand with the flashlight in it to pull your shirt up and away from your gun and then draw with your right? And even pretending that doesn't double or tripple your draw time, you practice this enough that nothing gets tangled in the process? And that's while in the comfort of your own home not in the most stressful moment of your life? I'm serious, practice your draws. You don't even need to live fire just do it in your own home with a timer running on your phone. I think this will be a cool learning expirence for you, even if you don't change your mind on WML you will at least get your draws down with that crazy handheld light plan of yours which may save your life.

But also, as I said in that old thread WMLs also look nice and help balance your handgun making follow up shots faster by reducing muzzle flip.

A while back PSA had Sar9 OPTIC READY pistols on sale for around $200. Don’t own any optic ready duty sized striker fires so I made the purchase. I had a Sar B6C and it runs great so I don’t doubt quality for price. I get the pistol, came super fast, and it’s has no optic cut! I reach out to PSA. “Hey listing says it’s supposed to be optic ready and it not” Please send order number, pics, etc. I do.

I found one where a laser was a factor, but the guy was verbally escalating so it doesn't count I think.

That said I think they are good on a carry gun if you want to bother, but low priority. If you're handheld is good enough the fucker should be blind anyway. If it's dark enough to need one 20k candela to the face should give you time for options.

I rented the original p365 twice. I did it the second time because everyone kept sucking it off so I thought it must be a fluke. Hated it both times, wanted to throw it at the target.
SIG and everyone come out with the "XL" models, completely defeating the purpose of the micro nine in the first place.
I just use cargo pants now. You can access them while driving. I've been carrying my security 9 since it has a safety and I can just throw it in there without a holster. I really wish they made a light and thin da/sa with a decocker but I haven't found anything that really works. I'm aware of the non zero chance of the safety getting released in my pocket and the trigger getting pulled not the odds of them both happening at the same time are so remote it's not worth thinking about.

It's a good gun, but I wouldn't recommend the full size P09 because it's so goddamn big. It's 1911 big but chunkier and has no helpful angles, so get the P07. Day in, day out, several hundred pulls of the trigger every single day, on target. About 15 yds, that’s what I do most of my practice at, just a preference. Jokes aside, the laser is great. I'm a 2hr drive from where I can shoot legally, and the nearby indoor range is a fucking disgusting trap-house looking shithole that reeks of piss and drips viscous brown shit from the ceilings. The laser is dirt cheap, there are several free apps and whatnot to use, they use the camera to watch the target and trace your hits so you can actually run drills with shot timers and get scored. Biggest downside is with SAO you're racking the slide for every shot, can be limiting. I totally recommend it, fun as fuck, dirt cheap, good practice.

Cheap 1080p projector on Amazon and a laser cartridge together will run you the price of 4 boxes of 40 and you'll get a whole hell of a lot more than 200rds worth of fun out of them.
You can emulate most of the old arcade light-gun games, I play Area 51 and Sammy's Deer Hunting. Not my video, but it's pretty much the same shit.

No. My support hand is focused on clamping on my shooting hand and gun. The px4 is slippery and I don’t have stipple or grip tape, I compensate by clamping on my other hand which apparently is what that shooter Kim Hwanik or whatever does too.

I shot my PSA Dagger, Ruger Max 9, LCP Max, S&W638, 642, and Glonk 19. At 10 yards I shot on average about 8 inch groups with the LCP Max, 4-6 inch slow firing Dagger and Max 9, slightly smaller with the Glock, and then 3 inch with the 642 and 2 inch with 638. My best group was about an inch and a half with the 638 shooting single action. I am debating on forgetting about the LCP Max and just going back to pocketing my 638. Anyone know if polishing a J frame will damage it in any way? I want to make my J frame pretty and I don't really like the matte Grey that it currently wears. I polished my SP101 and it looks great, but I don't know enough about metal to assume that the aluminum frame will behave the same as stainless steel.

This is a group size so large that it can only be two things - pulling the pistol off target when you shoot due to whatever technique problem OR loose optic. Check the screws and if they are tight, consult the chart, and look deep inside yourself, did you flinch on some shots but not others, did they all feel the same? Actually three, did any bullets go into target sideways?

To be fair, the 8 inch groups were with an LCP Max and only the LCP Max. If I slow waaaaay down, I can tighten up the group, but it's consistently low and opens way out if I shoot with any speed. LCP doesn't have a dot, the Glock, dagger, and max 9 have dots. The LCP trigger is weird. It seems like no matter what I do, it dips down when the trigger breaks. That's probably why it shoots low normally, but is centered if I hold it tight as fuck and go slow.

Yeah the revolvers were shot in double action. I can consistently shoot 2 inch groups at 10 yards with my 638. The single action was just to confirm zero with my handloads and I just happened to get the smallest group for the trip doing that.
