James Bond began and ended with Fleming novels. The movies were a nice tribute at best, and an outright insulting abomination at worse, but none of the merchandising ever encapsulated the that feel from the original adventures, specially when it comes to the character. Goldeneye was also a fun movie, and Brosnian is my favorite one from the casting, but the game was lame, and everything after it was even gayer and alien.
