Mate here's what I usually get for salads. Lasts 2 people a full week. Works out to about 77p per salad. The ingredients can easily last 10 days - 2 weeks in the fridge so a single lad could easily have this and still get the savings. The balsamic lasts ages.

I usually have either a steak or a chicken breast or two with it. If it's the chicken breast I'll cook it with salt, pepper, butter and italian herb mix. delicious dinner and takes about 10 minutes prep time and 30 mins cooking time, Well better value than anything you'd get pre-packaged.
