It wasn’t like this for the last movie.

Honestly, I’ve never been this disappointed in Fujimoto.
He made Yoshida say something like, "Man, those were good times. Bro, I’m really gonna miss you," even though he and Denji never built up any real memories together.
My only reaction was, ‘Wtf is this guy talking about?’ When Sasuke told Naruto, "You’re my closest friend," I already screamed, "Huh? Since when are you two even friends?"
But Yoshida’s fake friendship and memories bit here manages to be even worse.
