(Part 2)
What we value the most could be the CREDIBILITY. If we talk about height or size, I can tell you that 'Mascarita Sagrada' (a mini version of the original 'Máscara Sagrada') is almost god. He's undoubtedly the best 'mini-luchador' that has ever existed, and people recognize his technical quality in the ring in addition to what he is capable of doing for his size. Mexico is NOT a country that supports queer ideology in any way, But Pimpinela (or 'La Pimpi' in an affectionate way) is one of the most loved luchadores by people for several decades. Not only did he prove to be a very strong luchador in his time, earning everyone's respect, but his charisma is also genuine and unparalleled. He's simply the person that he is inside and outside the ring, and everyone loves him. Alberto was despised by mexican people when he tried to sell himself in Mexico as a national hero and the greatest 'face' this country has ever produced. But when he showed himself as he really is, as an arrogant, overbearing and egocentric guy, and when thanks to that he became the number one heel in the country, people hated him but at the same time he earned the respect and affection of the fans for being who he REALLY IS and for doing a great job.
Mistico, after returning to Mexico after having failed in WWE, had a time where people also repudiated him. However, for several years he went through a path of redemption, demonstrating his quality and commitment as a wrestler, wearing different masks and names, which he made shine on his own. That made him the idol of the people again, until he received the mask and the name of Mistico again, closing his cycle and establishing himself forever as a (living) legend. He understood his mistakes, fixed them, and matured in the process. He is, by himself, a great and beautiful story to tell for generations. He's 'the path of the hero' made luchador.
