Came here to say that. 20 years of rallying at age 25, achieved everything in WRC, youngest world champ twice back to back. He has the mindset of the champion - new peaks need to be conquered. He's burnt out on rallying after doing it his whole life, and what prospects could he see on the horizon in WRC? Fight against the same two guys and same two teams for the foreseeable years, in slower cars no less? Lmao, even viewers are tired of this shit and we only have to bust a weekend once a month, with our ass on the couch and a beer in our hand.

Fuck I hope that *something* clicks in those knuckleheads minds in FIA, cause it clearly didn't when their fresh world champion did a half-season and the rest of the drivers and champs constantly shit on the state of WRC.
